Lynette is such a joy to have at our school. Her second-grade teacher, Ms. Foley, had nothing but great things to say about her!
“I am so proud of Lynette and all the hard work she puts in at school every day. She has always shown great effort, kindness, and a love for learning. She consistently tries her best, helps her classmates, and comes to school with a positive attitude. These are all wonderful things that make her a great student and a great friend. I also admire her sense of humor and ability to keep me on my toes!”
Even her peers have great things to say about her, Evelyn said, “She is nice. She helps a lot if someone is sad. She helps make us feel happy!”
“She is kind to her friends and is always fair,” said her classmate, Emma.
“Lynette is an essential part of our team. She is a role model for others, and keeps us on track. She helps others by explaining and participating and is a real joy to our community of learners. I appreciate Lynette's enthusiasm for learning and her amazing presence shines bright in our classroom every day!” Says Mrs. Avila, Lynette’s third-grade teacher.
Principal Mrs. Grommeck, says “Lynette has been a student I could count on since my very first day at Alice Terry—back when she was just a bright-eyed first grader. From the very beginning, her leadership was undeniable. She has always led with kindness, confidence, and quiet strength, setting the tone for others to follow.
Lynette is a wonderful peer influence and a steady support for younger students. She models what we hope for all Alice Terry scholars: curiosity, compassion, resilience, and pride in who they are and where they come from.
You can expect to see Lynette and her family at every school event—their involvement is consistent and wholehearted. They are true partners in our community, continually showing their pride and commitment to our school through their presence and participation.
I have loved watching Lynette grow into the remarkable young leader she is today, and I’m thrilled that we’ll continue to have her shining presence at Alice Terry through 5th grade.”
